The proceeds from the 2009 & 2010 Pet Walk & Adopt-a-thon were distributed to various animal rescues throughout northern Colorado. These rescues participated in the event and helped honor the memory of Linnea. The Linnea Memorial Foundation gave each rescue pictured below a donation on behalf of Linnea and her love of animals. There were also many dogs and cats that found their forever homes at the Linnea Pet Walk & Adopt-a-thon!

We brought three dogs to the event. While we were there a nice couple came up and began looking through the binder that we have of all the dogs at the shelter. They explained what kind of dog they were looking for, and about their active lifestyle, so I turned the page to Mourise. They then left the event and headed to the shelter to meet him. They adopted him that day. We celebrated because Mourise had been at the shelter for 4 years. He found a home as a result of our presence at Linnea’s Pet Walk and Adopt-a-thon. Thank you.
